Defund DAPL Rally

Stand with Standing Rock!

In December the Army Corps of Engineers halted the Dakota Access Pipeline easement process and required an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The struggle was not over.

In January the Acting Secretary for the Army recommended that the Army Corp issue the required permit with or without an EIS, but the public comment period is open until February 20th. The struggle was not over.

Now the Army Corp has ordered the closing of the camp of Water Protectors by February 22! The struggle is not over!

We are responding to the global call from Standing Rock to continue the struggle. We are gathering in solidarity with the brave Water Protectors at Standing Rock. Actions are still taking place all over the country and across the planet to push for financial institutions to divest from the $3.8 billion pipeline project. Join us as we keep the pressure on a local US Bank in Rice Lake, WI to divest from Dakota Access. The bank's $175 million dollar endorsement for DAPL is unacceptable.

If you cannot attend, you can still support! Find out who your bank is banking on. Break up with them and encourage everyone you know to do the same. People have already divested over $57 million from complicit corporations. Follow the four easy steps outlined in the site below so the money you pull out can be tracked.
