Urgent Action Today- Walk to suport Puyallup! No LNG Fracked gas Pipeline &

  • Point Ruston Plaza 5005 Ruston Way Tacoma, WA, 98407 United States (map)

Urgent call to Action- Today 6pm we meet up at Point Ruston Plaza (Tacoma waterfront) where we launch our short 3 mile round trip solidarity Walk to support Puyallup Tribe with stopping Puget Sound Energy's LNG (Fracked Gas) pipeline & Facility on their sacred lands. 7pm we launch our Walk as we will place our prayers in our step and let the blessings of the songs touch our Xa'xe Ten'oxw (Sacred Mother) for all future generations of life in and around our Sche'ne (Salish sea) to help stop this Fracked gas Pipeline and Facility on Puyallup's tribal land.

We stand in honor of the arrival of Joye Braun who is one of the original founders of the Standing Rock movement, she is here to join us for this walk and other actions to show her support and full solidarity with stopping this Fracked gas Pipeline.

Walk will go from Point Ruston to Marine Park and back along the waterfont.

Late arrivals are welcome! We will have a shuttle vehicle at the Parking lot for Point Ruston that will shuttle people up to the walkers.

We will have a support vehicle if you need to take rest from walking.

If you like please bring banners, signs and for sure your good hearts and spirits for this positive creation walk.

We will have Kelthlala'mechen (Orca) & schay'nexw (Salmon) puppets you can use.

We will have Spring water in glass jugs and energy bar snacks in the support vehicle along this short Solidarity Walk.

A few notes on Tacoma LNG Pipeline & Facility: This is Fracked Gas, a Methane based Fossil Fuel of the most toxic form for our Climate, 80 times more toxic than CO2 for our Grandchildren's grandchildren. 80 time more toxic to a dwindling stable climate and our Salsih Sea which is currently dying from the effects of Climate Change. This Facility would harbor an 8 million gallon holding tank, putting families who live only a half mile away inside the 3.5 mile blast zone that would melt metal for the first mile within the blast zone.

We hope to see you there!

Much love and solidarity for all people, life, our Salish Sea and future generations! ♥

Ye'how! It can only be completed together!
