Seattle stands with Puyallup DAY 2! ~ Stop the gas pipeline.

  • 12th St E & 59th Ave Ct E fife Wa 98424 (map)

Urgent Call to Stand with the Puyallup!!!: Show up, stand up, speak up! RISE UP AGAIN NOW!!!

Did you know there is construction of a new fracked gas pipeline for Puget Sound Energy’s proposed LNG fossil fuel terminal going on right now just 30 miles south of Seattle? The Puyallup tribe opposes the proposed LNG terminal because it violates their treaty rights to fish, and puts their community, land, air, and water at grave risk. 27 other WA tribes have also voted to oppose PSE LNG.

Despite this, right now PSE (an Australian Corporation) is laying a 5 mile pipeline intended to supply fracked gas to PSEs proposed massive LNG plant at the Port of Tacoma.

The Puyallup have been opposing this project for years and now is the time for Seattle to stand with them!

Last night, on July 17th, over 100 activists and Water Protectors showed up to stand in truth with the Puyallup First Peoples, for the salmon, our Salish Sea, our Mother Earth, grandchildren, and a stable climate.

Now, we are calling for Seattle to continue standing with the Puyallup all this week and to join us in Tacoma for nightly rallies and vigils.

We will be gathering every night at 6pm for a rally and vigil as the pipeline construction continues. Meet at the intersection of 12th St E and 59th Ave Ct E, Fife, WA!

We are organizing carpools to head down to Tacoma from Seattle.

You can sign up on this carpool site: or email Jared directly.

There are also public transit options at 70 minutes from downtwon Seattle.

Please bring a personal water bottle!

Stand together like the trees! And lift each other up!

See you in Tacoma!!
YE"HOW (it can only be completed together)!
