Water Is Life, Stories of Standing Rock and the Mni Wiconi Midwives

  • Traditions Fair Trade 300 5th ave SW Olympia WA (map)

In a cozy yurt surrounded by winter snow, the Mni Wiconi Midwives offer support to the women and families of Standing Rock. From being a part of this historic movement to working alongside amazing medics and healers from all pathways of service, the entire experience was both intense and life-changing.

Midwives Rhonda Lee Grantham & Michelle Gober would like to share stories of their experience, in appreciation of the many people in our Olympia community & beyond that offered their support. From gathering donations, to sharing awareness, to helping to make the "Winter Medicines for Water Protectors" event such a huge success- we thank you.

All are welcome, though donations will be accepted as a fundraiser to cover the cost of an upcoming Street Medic Training in Olympia. For more info, please join the "Olympia Street Medics" Facebook Group.
