The City of Tacoma is pressing charges for the non-violent civil disobedience at the liquid fracked gas plant construction site that happened May 17.

Cynthia Linet, Freddie Havara, Irene Morrison, Jeff Johnston, Marilyn Kimmerling and Sarah Morken have been charged with criminal trespass and obstruction of an officer.

Puget Sound Energy demands they pay $26,000.00 in restitution.

The Super 6 did the civil disobedience to defend our community and the planet from the oil and gas industry. They did it after more than a year of going through the official channels to stop the fracked gas plant. Current laws do not protect us from dangerous and polluting projects. Neither do current elected officials.
