FLOW Wake Up Tour Artist Discussion on DAPL

  • 3800 Lee Hwy Arlington, Virginia 22207 (map)

Join us for an in depth Artist discussion about the first-hand experiences of some of the water protectors from the DAPL protests. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions about what really happened.

About the tour:

On this tour, we are honored to bring Wisdom, strength and love to this global movement for the protection of our waters from the voices and hearts of ONE TRIBE MOVEMENT joined by Lakota youth runner activists, an elder from Washington DC, and some very special souls and musical guests.

We will have shows in Cincinnati, DC, Asheville, Austin, Boulder, Denver, Santa Fe, Ashland, Portland, Eugene, Spokane, and then back down the West Coast at The new Klamath Peace camp and many tour dates in California. We will also hold prayer circles, workshops on peaceful direct action training, and Q/A panels so that water protectors can share our experiences with the community.

We will be having workshops and talks with community at the shows about the Standing Rock movement, the privatization of our waters, human divine birth rights to water, protection of the Earth, and how we can move forward together in a good way. We will also teach eachother and learn from eachother as we go, Connecting with lineage holders from many tribes around the country. We will share stories, medicine, music and love. We will also share about cultural sensitivity and learning how to embrace eachother in our unique ways. We will talk about the return to the Village mentality, and cooperation and co-creation rather than the colonized teachings of competition.
