Atlantic Coast Pipeline Public Hearing

  • Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront Hotel and Conference Center 100 East Constance Road Suffolk, VA, 23434 United States

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is taking public comments on the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP). Please come out and make your voice heard. The ACP would carry fracked gas creating a permanent scar nearly 600 miles across Virginia slashing through the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the George Washington National Forest, and thousands of acres of private lands. This pipeline is part of Dominion's risky push for fracked gas infrastructure that would increase Virginia's carbon pollution by more than 80%. #NoACP Please park across from the front of the hotel in the Suffolk Visitor's Center Parking lot. We will gather on the public sidewalk in front of the Hotel and disperse information and have a show of solidarity against this uneeded, unwanted fossil fuel relic. We will also attend the meeting and make comments. Contact Zach Jarjoura (zachary.jarjoura@sierraclub.org) or Jeff Staples (jeff.staples@sierraclub.org).
