Killing the Black Snake: #noDAPL Documentary Screening

  • Brattleboro Food Co-op 2 Main St Brattleboro, Vermont 05301 (map)

"TROUBLE #1: Killing the Black Snake: Behind the Scenes of the #NODAPLStruggle

The first episode of Trouble looks beyond the mainstream narratives surrounding the Standing Rock encampment to get a better understanding of some of the camp’s overlooked dynamics, including serious disagreements over which tactics to use to best stop the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL)."

The film is a half hour long. Afterwards, there will be time to discuss and/or I will field questions. Admission is free, but donations will be collected to support the media collective that produced the film.

This will be a great way to get energized and focused ahead of the People's Climate March, as well as a starting point for longer-term community dialogues about strategies and tactics in the fight against climate change.
