Water Is Life ~ In Atzintli In Nemilitzli
We are Human.

Water protectors at Standing Rock have called on our communities to organize ongoing pressure on the banks and institutions funding the Dakota Access Pipeline. Communities also are calling for help against the raids.

Wells Fargo profits from the pipelines that assault Mother Earth. Wells Fargo is also complicit in policy and profitting off of mass incarceration that has devastated families and communities. Wells Fargo profits from raids that fill the beds in detention centers and from the separation of families. Wells Fargo profits from the abuses taking place against civil rights, human rights, indigenous peoples rights and the RIGHTS OF MOTHER EARTH....

So, we will be returning to the downtown branch of Wells Fargo to DEFEND THE SACRED every Saturday this month from noon till 2pm!

No drugs, no alcohol, no violence.

This action stands in solidarity with Ayoyotes on the Ground Ceremonia en el Campo de los Dos Rios!!, taking place this weekend at Two Rivers Camp in West Texas--and with water protectors at Camp Toyahvale and everywhere. We will also call for an end on the ICE raids, standing in solidarity with migrant people/pueblos.

Last weekend we passed out information on Wells Fargo's role in the pipeline as well as a sample withdrawal letter, and we hope to do the same this weekend.

We will supply handouts--you bring your signs, banners, and yourselves!

Be aware that the sun will be directly overhead for the first hour or so--bring a hat or umbrella and water!

And if you are willing to organize a separate action at your neighborhood Wells Fargo, let us know - the more branches we can set up outside the better.
