Representing a nearly $1 billion investment, this 120-mile pipeline will originate in Dallas, Luzerne County, in northeastern Pennsylvania, and terminate at Transco’s pipeline interconnection near Pennington, Mercer County, New Jersey. The PennEast Pipeline is a proposed $1 billion project of six companies: UGI Utilities, AGL Resources, NJR Pipeline Company, Public Service Enterprise Group, South Jersey Industries, and Spectra Energy (whom has just merged with Enbridge). The proposed route would cross 88 waterways. The project is proposed to cross 44 wetlands and 30 parks. 85% is proposed to cross through the Delaware watershed.
