Stop the Pipeline: Klamath County Intervenor Workshop (Oct 19 Klamath Falls OR)

  • Gaucho Collective 1038 Main St Klamath Falls, Oregon 97601 (map)

On Thursday, September 21, 2017 the Canadian Company behind the Pacific Connector gas pipeline and LNG export terminal filed their application with the federal government, marking their third attempt to build a 235 mile pipeline through southern Oregon to ship fracked gas overseas.

You can help stand up to Jordan Cove by filing as an Intervenor on the project today!

Individuals, impacted landowners, conservation organizations and community groups can file as intervenors allowing them to submit comments and documents “on the record” to FERC. As an intervenor, you will also legal standing challenge decisions by FERC if you choose. Whether you are a landowner along the proposed route, or a concerned resident who loves hiking in the National Forests, or a business owner who is concerned about impacts, we all have a stake in ensuring the pipeline does not get built.

FERC works quickly and we have a short timeline to intervene. The deadline to file is October 26th, 2017. The good news is that is relatively easy to file and we have to put together step by step instructions that you can access online:

In addition to the online instructions, we will be holding workshops along the pipeline route on the following days. Please join us and help spread the word!
