Fracking, Your Health and Industry Liability (April 28 Cambridge OH)

  • Salt Fork State Park Lodge US-22 Cambridge, Ohio 43725 (map)

Join us for this Community Information and Organizing Event to learn about the impacts of fracking on health, environment, and local communities; industry responsibility; your legal rights, and what folks are already doing to hold industry accountable and help communities protect themselves from adverse impacts.

This conference will not only design community strategies but allow individuals to decide for themselves what they can do in the face of industry impacts. Many Ohioans are now experiencing the downside of the fracking industry, and we expect that once important information is shared, questions are answered and ideas are generated, attendees will emerge energized and empowered to take action as opposed to so many who are told or tell themselves that, "There's nothing we can do."

Event is free, but seating is limited, lunch is available for the first 60 people to register. RSVP to wewantcleanwater@gmail.com or call 419-450-7042 for more information.

Hosted by Ohio Allies, FreshWater Accountability Project, and Buckeye Environmental Network.
