A second booth! Stop the Pipleine has also secured a booth at the Carrboro Farmer's Market. This is an excellent opportunity to hand out flyers, gather petition signatures and hopefully some people will take the time to complete the formal FERC comment form and postcards to their state and federal legislators. The postcards are already addressed and stamped, and the comment form envelopes are already addressed and stamped too! We can probably find a lot more volunteers to help fight against the proposed pipeline. The market opens at 7 am. I know that is early, so if you can get there at 8 am, that would be great. (If you oversleep, better late than never.) Contact Kaira More if you plan to be there.
