Ramapough vs. the Pilgrim Pipeline (Sept 23- Brooklyn NY)

  • Unnameable Books 600 Vanderbilt Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11238 United States (map)

Join SFTP NYC in supporting the Ramapough Lenape Nation in their struggle to protect sacred lands and the Ramapo River from the proposed Pilgrim Pipeline. Speakers from the Ramapough tribe, SFTP NYC, and others will lead a discussion on the devastating potential impacts of the pipeline, as well as specific political actions we can take. Drinks and mingling in the lovely backyard of Unnameable Books on one of the last of the warm summer evenings to follow!

Funds raised will be used to offset travel costs for Ramapough tribemembers to attend the event, and any additional proceeds will be given to the aid the Ramapough's legal fees.
