Shut Down Line 5!

  • 7109 West Saginaw Highway Lansing, MI, 48917 United States (map)

The Pipeline Safety Advisory Board (PSAB) will be meeting again to discuss the future of Enbridge Energy's Pipeline 5, which cuts through the Straits of Mackinaw and sits in open water. The State of Michigan has been dragging its feet in making a decision over the 63 year old pipeline. PSAB is currently chaired by Heidi Grether, whose previous employment includes multiple positions with BP Oil during the Deep Water Horizon spill in the Gulf Coast. We need to show her that the people of the Grear Lakes Basin will not tolerate an oil spill in the Straits of Mackinaw!

Show up and demand or support a decision for the immediate shut down of line 5!

The meeting will be held at 7109 West Saginaw Highway Lansing, Mi in the Lake Michigan Room. There is plenty of room for seating and standing.
