"Gathering Our Hearts at Standing Rock," Is a work in progress
documentary, by Oscar-nominated director, Fidel Moreno. Join Shire City Sanctuary on Saturday, April 8th at 7 PM for a viewing of this important and timely film. Culled from 18 hours of interviews with 33 people at Standing Rock —including youth, mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, First Nation people and non-Indian supporters — “Gathering Our Hearts at Standing Rock” is an ongoing documentary project, chronicling the story of the Water Protectors at Standing Rock and their connection to the history of the American Indian Movement on their treaty-given lands of the American West. 

The film runs approximately 63 minutes in length, and is followed by a Traditional Water Ceremony and a brief discussion/ Q and A with the director himself.
