— Native American Ceremonial Stone Landscapes - Their History, Cultural Significance and the threat posed by the Connecticut Expansion Pipeline in Otis State Forest, Sandisfield, MA. Presentation by Doug Harris, Deputy Tribal Historic Preservation Officer and Preservationist for Ceremonial Landscapes for the Narragansett Tribe. Doug’s letter to FERC and the ACHP raised awareness of the lack of a plan by Kinder Morgan to avoid nearly a third of the 73 ceremonial stone landscape features in the path of the Connecticut Expansion pipeline in Sandisfield.
