"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
"WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES" These are the words that begin the US Constitution. The Constitution was written by our forefathers to ensure that WE THE PEOPLE have rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  
The Declaration of Independence showcases the reasons that America was born. It states:
"When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
But lately, WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES have felt that our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are somewhat shaky. We go to work everyday, come home and watch the news, discuss what we see and what we feel is important, and then contact our government representatives who often ignore our letters, calls and even face to face meetings. They are supposed to represent us, but do they know that? It seems that they are only listening to people like the Koch Brothers and others with plenty of money to spread around.
United Voice of the Eagle is a celebration of "WE THE PEOPLE". It is us, reminding our government that WE THE PEOPLE are in charge. WE THE PEOPLE want representation in Congress, in the White House, and in all the State Houses as well. We gather to declare what WE THE PEOPLE want in hopes that our representatives will hear us at last and realize that they are shortchanging the very people they are supposed to represent.  
Simply stated, WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA wish to be heard and listened to. We will not be silenced. We are using our voice to take our country back!

Resist Fracking in the Flint Hills!

We will hold an educational demonstration in Union Square of the ESU campus to speak out against the injection well application filed with the Kansas Corporation Commission.

Please read the following information regarding Waste Water Disposal in the FLINT HILLS
Application for Permission to Authorize the Injection of Saltwater into the Arbuckle Formation at the well known as Sly 2-6 SWD, located in the NE NE SE of Section 6 Township 17S Range 6E in Morris County, Kansas. (Docket No. 17-CONS-3484-CUIC) 
The well site is in the Arbuckle Formation, directly over the Nemaha Ridge (a basement uplift). On the eastern side is the Humbolt Fault zone, with multiple, parallel faults trending generally N/NW. The Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant is located less than 100 miles from the injection well (a well allowing for the disposal of wastewater that is deemed too toxic to come into contact with useable water) for which Quail Oil & Gas Lc has applied for a permit to inject. This would allow (potentially toxic waste salt water) to be injected from local AND remote extraction wells.

Potential Earthquakes Resulting in Uncompensated Economic Damages to Personal and Public Property

*recent Chase Co. School District bond issue
*Council Grove Lake Dam becoming compromised

Indigenous Flood - United Nations : NYC - Come to New York

The Flood never came to Standing Rock, so let's bring the Flood to the United Nations. 

From April 24th to May 5th the United Nations in New York City is holding the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, also known as PFII. Typically, these forums lack Native American representation, and often have Non-Natives speaking on behalf of Natives and their issues. This ends now. 

For two weeks, we need to show New York, The UN, and the world that Indigenous People are here, and can speak for themselves. 

The world will not forget what happened at Standing Rock. The world will no longer ignore the conditions on reservations, and the issues effecting indigenous people around the globe. 3/4 of the world's population are indigenous, and it's time they stop forgetting that. 

There are multiple levels of events within this forum, some more exclusive than others. We want to come out in full force at every level. From top to bottom. From panels at the UN headquarters to flash mob round dances in Time Square, we are going to Flood New York City. 

Whether you are registered for the forum or not, we are asking for all indigenous people and allies to come to New York City and show your support. As the strongest of warriors take the United Nations to speak, they will have the support of their brothers and sisters outside, praying, singing, marching and standing in solidarity. 

Thousands came to Standing Rock. Thousands came to DC. And we can do the same in New York City. 

We are planning a plethora of events, from demonstrations, to speaking engagements, to gatherings and dances and celebrations. For two weeks, let's make New York City our new home.
