:::: A call for prayer and movement in Chicago

:::: Greetings brothers and sisters, allies, and friends,

To honor our precious mother water, please join water protectors, the International Indigenous Youth Council, and the Pilsen Alliance for a day of prayer to Lake Michigan in recognition of World Water Day and Spring equinox.

We will gather at 12:00 p.m at the Stonehedge spiral south of the Adler planetarium located at 1300 s. Lake Shore Drive Chicago, Illinois to make prayers and offerings to our precious mother Lake Michigan.

This will be followed by a peaceful prayer walk to Buckingham Fountain, where there will be a rally for the voices of Water Protectors to spread awareness of the growing movement to respect and protect our water.

Please join us this Wednesday, March 22 at 12 p.m starting at the Stonehedge Spiral south of the Adler Planetarium and then ending at the Buckingham Fountain

Everywhere our water is being threatened and abused, the time is now to take action to respect and protect our water for the future generations to come. Water is Life!

For support and solidarity if you can not attend here are some other options:
