Withlacoochee Trail Bike Ride & Sabal Trail Pipeline

Let's enjoy this spectacular weather AND learn about this destructive pipeline! Feb 25 Sat - WITHLACOOCHEE STATE TRAIL BICYCLE RIDE, North Section from Hernando to North Terminus. This ride will focus specifically on the Sabal Trail gas pipeline extension being built through Citrus County and passing under the trail near mile marker 40, where construction is already underway. This spur of the main Sabal Trail Transmission line will be a buried 24-inch natural gas pipeline that will run between the main 36-inch pipeline near Dunnellon to the new power plant being constructed by Duke Energy in Crystal River. Information regarding the environmental issues associated with the pipeline will be provided.

YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH EXACT MEETUP LOCATION WHEN YOU RSVP
