March Against Monsanto -Denver 2017

  • Civic Center, Denver 101 West 14th Avenue Denver, CO, 80204 United States (map)

Last year Monsanto Company was accused of crimes against nature & humanity. The 5 judges opinions under The Monsanto Tribunal concluded on April 18th, 2017 that Monsanto has engaged in practices which have negatively impacted the right to a healthy environment, the right to food and the right to health. On top of that Monsanto's conduct is negatively affecting the right to freedom indispensable for scientific research.

This is not surprising news to those who have suspected and known about Monsanto's crimes of the past and present, from Aspartame in Coca Cola to Agent Orange in Vietnam. Another horrific creation of Monsanto, Round Up, which is linked to many lawsuits and research involving the product causing cancer is widely used on GMO crops and as weedkiller, wreaking havoc on people's health, contributing to the collapse of honey bee and monarch populations and destroying the health of our soil.

Boulder, Colorado is planning to phase out GMO crops by the end of 2017 which will be a huge step in the right direction and hopefully give momentum to other counties in Colorado doing the same. We need to bring these important issues to our city councils all over and talk about getting GMOs, Round Up and any toxic pesticides, herbicides and neonicotinoids banned. Show your resistance through boycotting, natural alternatives, raising awareness, growing your own food, and supporting local and organic farmers. For our health, our children's and future generations.
