IIYC Round Dance - No DAPL No KXL

  • 674 Santa Fe Drive Denver, CO, 80204 United States (map)

The International Indigenous Youth Council is holding a flash round dance to bring awareness back to the Dakota Access Pipeline and now, the Keystone XL pipeline. In light of Donald signing executive actions to advance production of these two pipelines it is imperative that the Denver community organize to support indigenous communities effected by the oil and gas industry and the industry's private interests. And let's not forget that these pipelines negatively effect a whole sea of communities throught the United States.

There will be march from 4 Winds Council at 4pm on the same day in memory of missing and murdered indigenous women. The Youth Council will be marching with 4 Winds to the round dance. WEAR RED.

Please join us in supporting the communities that will be dramatically effected should completion of these pipelines occur.

This events is apart of a campaign titled #DOPE: Decolonization of Peoples Everywhere. #DOPE seeks to bring awareness to the results of colonization experienced by peoples throughout the world.

Our sister chapters in Chicago, Standing Rock, SoCal and Taos NM are also holding round dances as well. For more information contact the IIYC Denver Chapter at
