#DefundDAPL Emergency Action for Standing Rock

  • Boulder City Council Chambers 1777 Broadway Boulder, CO, 80302 United States (map)

Trump thinks he can rush Dakota Access Pipelline to completion with an executive memorandum, but the people know with every action we take, small and large, we are still fighting to kill this Black Snake, and with the power of prayer and peaceful action, we will win!

The City of Boulder now has the opportunity to make a huge step in solidarity with Standing Rock.

The people of Boulder say, YES!!!

Financial divestment from the banks funding DAPL is one key strategy to stand in solidarity with Standing Rock against the pipeline. On Tuesday, January 31st at 6:30 pm, Boulder City Council could decide to start divesting millions of dollars from these banks.

That's right! #DefundDAPL is officially on the agenda of Boulder City Council's January 31st Study Session.

ACTIONS: Submit WRITTEN COMMENTS to City Council urging the City of Boulder to divest from financial instiutions supporting Dakota Access Pipeline. E-mail:
** or write to ATTN: Lynnette Beck, City Clerk, 1777 Broadway, P.O. Box 791, Boulder, CO 80306
** or Fax to 303-441-4478

Attend the Study Session at 6-7 pm on Tuesday, January 31st to show Boulder City Council that we #StandWithStandingRock!

Ask the Boulder City Council NOT to go along with staff recommendation to continue business as usual in disregard of Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's urgent need for ongoing solidarity.
