Movie: The Strawbale School at Standing Rock with Miguel Elliott with Opening Prayer and stories from Robert Black Eagle Costa

Miguel Elliott of Living Earth Structures and a crew of other natural builders worked on building a strawbale school at the Sacred Stone camp at Standing Rock. Miguel will be showing a film about the school house including clips of some of the peaceful direct actions and a discussion of the vision planned for the Sacred Stone camp to make it a permanent sustainable eco village. 

Leading the opening prayer will be Robert Black Eagle Costa, an elder with the Muscogee Creek Tribe Nation. Black Eagle is an ordained minister in the Native American Church.He was a counselor and lead the mental well-being team while he was there at Standing Rock.  

The Lakota Elder Woblaza was origionally scheduled to speak at this engagement, however circumstances caused his presence to be absent this evening. We apologize for the change, and hope those of you who were looking forward to hearing Woblaza speak will still come to support this event. 

Schedule for evening: 
5:30-6:30-Doors open, dinner served- soup and salad
6:30-6:45- Opening songs and prayers
6:45-7:45- Miguel shares stories and film of Standing Rock

Offering: $5-10 sliding scale love donation. No one turned away.
