Climate Action in the Era of #NoDAPL, with Winona LaDuke

  • ASU Memorial Union 1290 South Normal Avenue Tempe, AZ, 85281 United States (map)

Wondering where the climate-change movement is headed? One of the most tireless fighters for environmental justice, internationally-renowned activist Winona LaDuke, is sharing her insights on March 23 at ASU.

Winona ran twice for Vice President on the Green Party ticket with Ralph Nader, and helped found the Indigenous Women's Network. As executive director of Honor the Earth, she champions climate-change action, renewable energy and environmental justice with Indigenous communities, nationally and internationally.

The event is in the Memorial Union's Arizona Ballroom. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with an appetizer reception; Winona's Wrigley Lecture begins at 6:00 p.m. Stay for the dessert reception from 7:15 to 7:45 p.m.
